-Ukitake can be seen by a patch of flowering cacti just outside of town trimming and caring for the lovely array of fragrant blossoms. He's humming an old old song to himself as he goes about his work, occasionally stopping to wipe his brow and take a drink from his canteen.-

Every time I read the news. I can't help but feel like... Would I realy have made any difference? MacArthur was right... they didn't just doubt my health, but my ability to turn a gun against my former countrymen. This wasn't about my lungs, it was about my blood.

Just a reminder to parents of our many teenagers here in town: Homecoming is coming up soon, and there will be several PTA events dedicated to raising the spirit of our Fighting Owls! Decorating main street, mum crafting sessions, and all sorts of things!

I would also like to put my full endorsement in Miss Watari's dance idea. It's something our community could use in these hard times.

-Ukitake can be seen tending to his garden, the occasional breeze lifting his hair as he sets about watering the budding flowers. As he completes his work, he sets the watering can down and lets out a sigh. Something is obviously on his mind-
